PROTECTION BENEFIT

A Separate Support Pathway for Eligible Installations.

Protection Benefit is separate from Product Warranty. Availability, activation, eligible installations, covered events, affected areas, limits, exclusions, and claim procedures are governed by the applicable written program terms.

IMPORTANT BOUNDARY

Protection Benefit Is Not Insurance.

Protection Benefit is a defined support program associated with eligible VEHICOTEK installations. It is not Product Warranty, does not replace automobile insurance, and must not be described as insurance.

COMPARE PATHWAYS

Product Warranty vs Protection Benefit.

Product Warranty addresses eligible manufacturing or material defects under product-specific warranty terms. Protection Benefit addresses eligible events under separate written program terms, with separate activation, eligibility, evidence, and remedy rules.

Product Warranty

Eligible manufacturing/material defect, product-specific warranty eligibility, and written Product Warranty remedy.

Protection Benefit

Eligible event under separate program terms, program activation and installation eligibility, and written Protection Benefit remedy.

1. Overview

Protection Benefit is a separate support pathway associated with eligible installations. It is not Product Warranty, automobile insurance, or a replacement for automobile insurance.

Availability, activation, covered events, affected areas, limits, exclusions, evidence, timing, transferability, and remedies require approved written program terms.

2. Comparison to Product Warranty

Product Warranty addresses eligible manufacturing or material defects under product-specific warranty terms. Protection Benefit addresses eligible events under separate written program terms.

The two pathways must remain distinct in copy, navigation, claim selection, backend workflows, and customer communications.

3. Eligibility

Potential eligibility inputs include eligible product, installation type, registration or activation, installer status, required package, coverage period, vehicle or owner eligibility, claim timeframe, evidence, and no excluded cause.

Exact eligibility values require approved written program terms and backend implementation.

4. Activation

Protection Benefit activation may require an eligible installation, approved product configuration, completed registration, installer participation, customer acknowledgment, and backend-confirmed activation.

No activation status is authoritative unless returned by the approved backend workflow.

5. Eligible Events

Eligible event categories must be defined in approved written program terms. This draft does not create automatic eligibility for road hazards, vehicle damage, cosmetic concerns, owner preference, or any external event.

6. Limits

Program limits, frequency limits, monetary limits, affected-area limits, time limits, and documentation limits require business and legal approval before public launch.

7. Exclusions

Potential exclusions may include non-activated records, unapproved products, improper installation, misuse, illegal use, incomplete evidence, ordinary wear, pre-existing conditions, unauthorized repair, or events outside the written program terms.

8. Evidence

A Protection Benefit request may require record verification, event date, photos, installation documentation, vehicle information, installer evaluation, affected area details, or additional requested documentation.

9. Claim Process

Claim category, Claim ID, review state, and decision must come only from the approved backend workflow. Browser-only state must never approve, deny, pay, or settle a Protection Benefit request.

10. Available Remedy

Any available remedy must be limited to the remedy stated in the approved written program terms. This draft does not promise payment, repair, replacement, reimbursement, or approval.

11. Transferability

Transferability of Protection Benefit activation, if any, requires approved written program terms and backend review. This draft does not approve any transfer outcome.

12. Not Insurance

Protection Benefit is not insurance, does not replace automobile insurance, does not cover every type of vehicle damage, and does not guarantee payment, repair, replacement, or approval.

NEXT STEP

Keep warranty actions tied to verified records.

Contact support, find an installer, or return to the warranty overview. Private warranty records must stay behind approved verification and account authorization.
